3 Weeks To Go!

Its just under 3 weeks to go now until the first date of my Muse tour in Belfast. I have now booked everything, flights, trains, buses and hotels. The only thing I haven't done is booked my hotel in London which I must do shortly.

Here is my itinary so far:

Saturday 4th November
Bus Swindon to Heathrow. Fly to Belfast. Stay in Belfast. See Muse at Odyssey Arena. This involves me being up and onto a bus at 3.30am so if I'm falling asleep in my seat at the gig, you'll know why!

Sunday 5th November
Fly from Belfast to Glasgow. Stay in Glasgow. This worked out cheaper than flying direct to Aberdeen. I'll go and watch a firework display somewhere I expect!

Monday 6th November
Train from Glasgow to Aberdeen. Stay in Aberdeen. See Muse at AECC

Tuesday 7th November
Train Aberdeen to Glasgow. Stay in Glasgow. Go to see Muse at SECC.

Wednesday 8th November
Fly from Glasgow to Heathrow then bus from Heathrow back home to Swindon. Sleep. A lot.

Thursday 9th November
Day of rest!

Friday 10th November
Go to work, 10.15 start. I might not be much use to them but I will at least turn up!

Saturday 11th November
Bus from Swindon to Manchester. It takes around 6 hours! Stay in Manchester. Go to see Muse at MEN. I have a seat for this show. I'll be glad of a sit down at this point I should imagine!

Sunday 12th November
Bus from Manchester to Cardiff. Another 6 hour bus journey. The trains to and from Manchester appear to be running at strange times this weekend so buses it is! Stay in Cardiff. See Muse at CIA.

Monday 13th November
Train Cardiff to Swindon

Tuesday 14th November
Drive Swindon to Birmingham. See Muse at NEC. Drive home again. Nice and simple!

Wednesday 15th November
Go to work, on an early. 8am start for me!

Thursday 16th November
Work again. Even earlier start, 7.30am!

Friday 17th November
Bus from Swindon to Nottingham. Only 5 hours this time. Lucky me! Stay in Nottingham. See Muse at Nottingham Arena. Possibly a trip to Rock City afterwards, just for old times sake!

Saturday 18th November
Train Nottingham to Sheffield. Stay in Sheffield. See Muse at Hallam FM Arena. This was supposed to be the only one I was going to. Then Reading happened!

Sunday 19th November
Train Sheffield to Newcastle. Stay in Newcastle. See Muse at Metro Radio Arena

Monday 20th November
Fly Newcastle to Bristol then get a train Bristol to Swindon. Another early start but I should be home by midday.

Tuesday 21st November

Train from Swindon to London. Stay in London. See Muse at Wembley Arena

Wednesday 22nd November

Stay in London. Try to keep away from Wembely Arena!

Thursday 23rd November

Stay in London. Go to see Muse at Wembley Arena. Last night of tour!

As an aside to all this, I should add that I am also going up to Glasgow for the weekend on Friday 24th November until Sunday 26th and I am also seeing The Killers at Brixton Academy on Monday 27th November!

I would really love to meet up with other Muse fans at these shows. For me thats part of the fun of it, meeting other people. I'd also really like to meet the band at some point just to do my 'Hi, can you sign this for me please? Thanks. Bye' thing! I can never bring myself to say anything more than that when I meet people in bands. Then I always kick myself afterwards for being so silly!
